About
A Family Name on the Water
The Runkle name has meant Lake Lotawana real estate for decades. Here's the story, and the family behind it.
Laurie & Noel Runkle
Brother and sister, born on this shoreline
Laurie and Noel Runkle grew up with Lake Lotawana as their backyard. The Runkle Team is the family business: the practice their parents, Gayle and Dayton, built as Runkle Realty through decades of helping neighbors buy and sell on this water.
Same family, same shoreline, and the same promise: nobody will work harder to find your place on the water, or to sell the one you love.

Where It Started
Runkle Realty & Lotawana.com
Gayle and Dayton Runkle built the lake's trusted brokerage, and gave the community its online home at lotawana.com, long before most brokerages knew what a domain was worth.
A Lake-First Philosophy
Neighbors Before Clients
The Runkles don't commute to this market; they live it. Decades of walking docks, pricing shorelines, and handing keys to neighbors set the standard the family still works by.
Today
The Runkle Team
The family business today: Laurie and Noel lead day to day, with the same address on the web, the same shoreline underfoot, and the same standard of care.

Who you'll actually work with
The Runkle Team
Laurie Runkle
Laurie grew up on Lake Lotawana and has spent her career helping neighbors buy and sell on the same shoreline. She carries forward the practice her parents, Gayle and Dayton, built as Runkle Realty, decades of knowing this lake cove by cove.
The Runkle Team
Noel Runkle
Noel is Laurie's brother and the other half of the family business, born and raised on this water. He handles listings and negotiations with the same lake-first approach the Runkle name has stood for since their parents' days at Runkle Realty.
The Runkle Difference
Lake people, full time
- Off-market, first
- Coming-soon and quiet listings tend to surface in conversation before they hit the MLS. Our clients hear about them first.
- Shoreline pricing
- Two lots with the same frontage can be worlds apart. We know what the water itself is worth, cove by cove.
- One lake, one address
- Every home we're watching lives here on lotawana.com. No portal rabbit holes, no stale feeds, no fine print.
- Search to closing
- Inspectors, dock permits, the quirks of lake property: we've done this enough times to know what's coming.
